Andy Skellam

“Something new and rather good” - Gideon Coe BBC 6 Music

Andy’s latest EP is a gently surreal journey. He creates intimate worlds, inviting the listener in with the warmth of his baritone voice and the often surprising turns of his fingerpicked acoustic guitar. It begins with 'Alice', a song about two people trying hard to cling to their youth and freedom and ends with 'Deep Blue Of Distance', a song of new parenthood and acceptance of the ephemeral nature of existence set against the backdrop of the Black Mountains.

'The soundtrack to resting on a broken tree in mulchy woods… [it] has provoked comparisons to Syd Barrett and Nick Drake – artists who similarly managed to butterfly-pin the strangeness of English life in music’ Dan Weltman, Hollowbody, Snails.

“A homespun sound and DIY ethic, something we much admire and are drawn to” - Folk Radio UK

Hannah Donelon

Hannah Donelon is a traditional vocalist with a unique and haunting voice. With a background in traditional Irish music, she draws from an array of wider influences to reconfigure ballads and tell stories with contemporary resonance. Through the simplicity and rawness of her music, Hannah tells lucid narratives of the lives and landscapes preserved in old songs with sympathetic accompaniment on guitar and whistle.
