Fritillaries announce their debut album with release of first ‘Unearthing’.

Fritillaries single "Unearthing" is out on the 15th April, celebrating the upcoming release of their album on the 15th July!

This song represents Fritillaries' creative work emerging and blossoming after a long two year hibernation. It’s about how the creative process sometimes needs patience and love and that things will often grow when you’re not looking.

Hannah's thoughts:

‘I was thinking about the parts of ourselves that are intentionally and unintentionally passed down: a complicated root system, with threads I could gently unfurl, tug and trace. I was trying to celebrate threads of creativity and connection to the earth whilst also touching on threads of trauma and pain.’

Huge thanks to everyone for their contributions: Ru Lemer - producer, Kit Massey - violin, Andy Hamill - bass, John Blek - vocals, Anna Colette - vocals and Ali Pawson - words.
